This series makes me laugh out loud every time I look at it.  I know I am so going to embarrass mom here…..but she “says” she is not competitive but I have evidence. She even took out her own beloved son just to try and win a race (wink wink)

Curly Girls

Those of us with pin-straight hair can attest to at least once on our lives longing for thick curly locks.   All of the bad perms and hot curling irons in the world just cannot come close to the real thing.  These little cuties have it, the best curls on the block!  They may not even know it yet but girls across America spend hours trying to look this gorgeous, all they had to do was show up and giggle.

A favorite

Last year this duo gave me one of my all time favorite mother/daughter portraits.  The connection and tenderness between the two of them is so amazing to watch.  Maybe it is because I have known Kelli forever, or maybe it is because sweet little Lyla completely holds her own with two older brothers….whatever it is, it makes me all gushy and happy 🙂

Old Friends

I absolutely love that I get to see the same families from one year to the next.  It really is like seeing old friends again, and it is one of the best parts of my job. It was so great to see just how much the kids have grown since last year.   This year they even added a few cousins to the mix and we had a total blast together.  This was the session that “almost wasn’t” due to fevers, ear infections, rain and wind…but we did it,  and I am so glad we did!

Lucky

Did I ever mention how lucky I am? I get to meet young women like this…laugh with them, hang out and have fun celebrating being at the beginning. The beginning of an incredible journey that starts with the graduation of high school. Sometimes I feel like it was all yesterday that I was entering my senior year all excited about graduating and heading off to college.  Then I pass a mirror….ahem…I do not look 16 or 17 anymore. But I am young a heart…does that count?

Meet one of  Wildwood Catholic’s most fabulous seniors…..
